The ICL-Worldlink tunnel project has strategic and fundamental value: international construction, not mutual destruction. More broadly, this project could help normalize relations on the Korean Peninsula, conclude a peace treaty between Russia and Japan, harmonize relations between PRC and Taiwan, and harness the resources of remote territories of the Alaska, Canada, Siberia, Mongolia and others for sustainable economic growth. Everyone could reap long-term benefits from this, gaining real experience in international creative cooperation not only in space (ISS) but also on Earth, and moving from centuries-old wars to inspiring cooperation, as, for example, UK and Europe has done. This is also necessary for jointly meeting the external challenges that humanity may face in the future. It makes sense to form a group to assess the comprehensive political, strategic, technological, and socioeconomic aspects of this grand, humane project.
