PIS/Pasep Salary Bonus Will Have Last Round of Payments in August. Workers Born in November and December Will Receive the Last Installment of 2025; Withdrawals Will Continue Until December.
According to official government data, the last round of payments for the PIS/Pasep salary bonus of 2025 will be released on August 15 for workers born in November and December. The benefit, referring to the base year 2023, was distributed in six batches throughout the year and is expected to cover 25.8 million people, with a total of R$ 30.7 billion paid.
The calendar started in February and, even for those receiving in this last batch, the withdrawal of the salary bonus can be made until December 29. The amounts vary according to the length of formal employment in 2023, reaching up to a minimum wage, and it is one of the labor rights that every Brazilian has.
Who Is Eligible for the Benefit
To receive the salary bonus in 2025, the worker must meet certain criteria defined by the government. It is necessary to be registered in PIS/Pasep for at least five years, have worked with a signed contract for a minimum of 30 days in 2023, and have received, on average, up to two minimum wages per month.

Additionally, the labor information must have been correctly submitted by the employer in the Annual Report of Social Information (RAIS). Meeting these requirements is essential for the release of the payment.
How Payments Will Be Made
In the case of PIS, intended for private sector workers, payments are made by the Caixa Econômica Federal. Those who have a checking or savings account at the bank receive the credit automatically. For others, the amount is made available in the digital social savings account, managed through the Caixa Tem app.
On the other hand, Pasep, aimed at public servants, is paid by Banco do Brasil, directly into the account for account holders or through branches for those without an active account.
Final Deadline for Withdrawal
Although the last release is on August 15, all entitled individuals can withdraw the salary bonus until December 29, 2025. After this date, the amount returns to the Worker Support Fund (FAT).
The government has not yet confirmed whether the payment related to the base year 2024 will occur in 2026, which is generating expectations among millions of workers waiting for the definition of the next calendar.
