With an Investment of R$ 80 Million, Construction Company Promises to Boost the Economy and Create New Jobs

Lightwall, a reference in innovation in the construction sector, revealed its plans to open a new factory in Santa Catarina. With an estimated investment of R$ 80 million, the facility is expected to create 80 direct jobs and will specialize in the production of precast panels for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.

The announcement was discussed in a meeting held last Tuesday, the 12th, between company representatives and members of the State Treasury Department (SEF), Secretary of Industry, Commerce and Services (Sicos), and SCPar.

The chosen location is on the northern coast of the state, a strategic area to serve not only the growing market in Santa Catarina but also to meet the demands from Paraná and Rio Grande do Sul. The factory is expected to start operations in 2025, consolidating Lightwall’s presence in the southern region.

Technology and Agility in Construction

Lightwall uses a mix of innovative materials in the production of its precast panels. This combination results in lighter, highly resistant pieces with excellent thermal and acoustic insulation. Furthermore, the method allows for an extremely fast construction process. According to the company, a 40 square meter house can be assembled in just 12 hours, representing a revolution in the sector.

These technological differentials reinforce Lightwall’s commitment to offering solutions that combine efficiency, sustainability, and agility, essential characteristics to meet the growing demand for modern and optimized constructions.

National Expansion of Lightwall

The factory in Santa Catarina is part of an ambitious expansion plan by Lightwall. The company aims to open 11 new units across Brazil by 2026. Recently, the company opened a factory in Rio Claro, São Paulo, strengthening its leadership in the industrialized construction market.

The investment in Santa Catarina was driven by the favorable environment created by the state government. According to Silvio Dreveck, Secretary of State for Industry, Commerce, and Services, the Jorginho Mello administration has been actively working to attract new businesses to the state.

“Santa Catarina is the safest state in the country, has a qualified workforce, and companies benefit from a government that supports private investment. That is why we are such an attractive state for new businesses. Only the tax incentive programs have already ensured the creation of more than 64,000 direct and indirect jobs since 2023,” emphasized Dreveck.
