The Federal University of Roraima Opens Registrations for New Public Competition with Dozens of Vacancies. Check the Requirements and Compete for Salaries of Up to R$ 10 Thousand.
The Federal University of Roraima (UFRR) has announced the opening of registrations for a new public competition aimed at professors interested in joining its faculty. With a wide variety of vacancies, UFRR seeks to attract qualified professionals from across the country, reinforcing its commitment to educational excellence in the North region. This initiative is part of the university’s ongoing efforts to promote high-quality education and significantly contribute to regional development.

In addition to the 22 vacancies for general competition, two are aimed at people with disabilities (PwD) and six for black individuals. Among the vacancies at the Federal University are:
Accounting

Mathematics
Degree in Mathematics or related fields, Doctorate in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Computational Mathematics or Statistics.
Chemistry

Competence to carry out teaching, research and extension activities, at undergraduate and graduate levels, in the School/Educational area, as well as to develop specific internship supervision in the area of educational and social contexts.
Nursing
Degree in Nursing; and Doctorate in Nursing or related fields. Be qualified to operate in the teaching module of the surgical center course, surgical clinic, CME and supervised internship modules.
Public Competition UFRR: Learn How to Participate
Those interested in the UFRR competition must register through the official portal of competitions at the Federal University. It is essential that candidates complete their registration by 5:00 PM on July 17, 2024, to ensure their participation.
The public competition is expected to be competitive; therefore, it is recommended to register early to avoid setbacks. Registration for the public competition can be done online through the UFRR competition page, in the “candidate area” option. The registration fee is R$ 300.
It is important to mention that the positions are fundamental for regional and national development, offering a promising career for future faculty members of UFRR. The Federal University competition offers attractive salaries, ranging from R$ 2,925.10 to R$ 10,481.63.
These amounts correspond to the position and work regime, which can vary from 20 to 40 hours per week. Professors also have the advantage of working in an institution that is a reference in research and innovation, further expanding their impact on the Brazilian academic landscape.
Selection Process for the Public Competition UFRR
The Federal University competition consists of three types of assessment: written exam, didactic exam, and title evaluation; however, candidates who choose the music area will also have to perform a practical exam.
According to information in the schedule of the notice, the written exam is scheduled to take place on September 1, the didactic exams from September 11 to 13, and the practical exam for the music area must also take place on September 13. The final result of the competition will be announced on October 23.
