As stated in the notice, those interested in becoming part of the Federal University of Juiz de Fora will be able to choose from two admission modalities.
In the first, intended for the general public, the average scores in Portuguese and Mathematics will be taken into account, with the presentation of the high school transcript, and it encompasses 70% of the spots.
On the other hand, in the second option, aimed at public school teachers currently working without a higher education degree, or who do not hold a degree in their area of work, proof of employment with their respective education networks must be provided, along with mandatory registration on the Freire Platform. Here, 30% of the opportunities are reserved.
According to the notice, if there is a number of applicants exceeding the number of available spots in the teacher modality, the criterion used will be the length of service and, subsequently, the student’s age.
Students Can Request Exemption from the Registration Fee
The registration fee exemption can be requested until this Wednesday (14), with the positive or negative result of the request being released on the 20th of this month on the General Coordination of Selection Processes (Copese) website.
