Launch and partnerships
The course launch was held at a ceremony at Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRRJ), with the presence of representatives from several partner institutions. For Udesc, the course coordinator, Professor Cleia Demetrio Pereira, highlighted the importance of the initiative. The recording of the event is available on YouTube.
The course is part of an agreement between Ministry of Education, involving the Secretariat of Continuing Education, Youth and Adult Literacy, Diversity and Inclusion (Secadi) and Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (Capes). The training courses are offered by public higher education institutions that are part of the Open University of Brazil (UAB), using the competence established in the UAB system.
