UrbMidia Closed A Partnership With Tupinambá Energia To Meet The Demand Of Charging Stations For Electric Cars Throughout The Northeast Region
The advancement of electric cars will also require a significant advancement in the expansion of charging station infrastructure. In this way, the UrbMidia Group has formed a partnership with the startup Tupinambá for the construction of new charging stations in the Northeast. According to the National Association of Motor Vehicle Manufacturers (Anfavea), in the last year, a total of 34,990 electric and hybrid cars were registered in the country, a growth of over 70% compared to the previous year.

Tupinambá Launches First Charging Station App For Electric Cars
The new company in the UrbMidia group is also the next step in DOOH media in Fortaleza, a result of the partnership with Tupinambá, a company specialized in solutions focused on electric mobility and areas related to the sector.
Tupinambá launched a national app capable of interconnecting charging stations across Brazil. Through the startup’s platform, any company can register a point for electric vehicle owners to search for charging stations along their journey.
Recently, Tupinambá received funding of R$ 10 million from the national joint venture between Shell and Cosan, Raízen, with the aim of expanding investments in charging stations for electric cars.
