UrbMidia entered into a partnership with Tupinambá Energia to supply the demand for electric car charging stations throughout the Northeast region
The advancement of electric cars will also require a major breakthrough in the expansion of charging station infrastructure. In this way, the UrbMidia Group entered into a partnership with the startup Tupinambá for the construction of new charging stations in the Northeast. According to the National Association of Motor Vehicle Manufacturers (Anfavea), in the last year alone, a total of 34.990 electric and hybrid cars were registered in the country, a growth of over 70% compared to the previous year.

Tupinambá launches first application of charging stations for electric cars
The new company of the UrbMidia group is also the next step in DOOH media in Fortaleza, the result of the partnership with Tupinambá, a company specialized in solutions focused on electric mobility and areas related to the sector.
The Tupinambá launched a national application capable of interconnecting charging stations throughout Brazil. Through the startup platform, any company is able to register a point so that electric car owners can search for charging stations throughout their trip.
Recently, Tupinambá received, from the j between Shell and Cosan, Raízen, a contribution of R$ 10 million, with the aim of expanding investments in charging stations for electric cars.
