Continuous Learning And Intergenerational Interaction
The USP 60+ free courses program aims to promote continuous learning as part of active and healthy aging. According to the program coordinator, Dr. Egidio Dórea, the exchange of experiences among different generations in the classrooms is one of the initiative’s highlights. He emphasizes that lifelong education helps to improve self-esteem, enhance socialization, and reduce the risks of social isolation, which are worldwide public health issues.
