The free English courses consist of synchronous classes, with two weekly sessions, and exclusive support materials created by the USP faculty and technical team.
Additionally, the project offers weekly office hours and extra guidance videos to ensure that students can apply the content in their daily lives.
Practical Focus on English: No Theory, Just Practice
It is important to highlight that the free English courses offered by USP do not aim to teach the grammar of the language but rather to develop techniques that help students understand and use English more easily.
The program is aimed at beginners and seeks to facilitate understanding of the language in everyday situations.
Moreover, there is a sequence of prerequisites for some courses, such as Focus on Writing, which requires completion of Focus on Reading or Focus on Listening courses, and Focus on Speaking, which can only be accessed by students who have completed the Focus on Writing course.
