With Almost 2,000 Job Openings, Rio Focuses on Hospitality and Inclusion with New Opportunities in Various Regions of the City
The city of Rio de Janeiro started the week with good news for those seeking work. The Municipal Secretariat of Labor and Income (SMTE) announced on Monday (19) the opening of 1,948 job vacancies in all regions of the municipality. Of the total, 468 opportunities are exclusive for people with disabilities.
Among the highlights is the “Trabalha Rio Hotels” event, which takes place in Copacabana and focuses on vacancies in the hospitality sector. The initiative gathers companies looking for immediate hires.
“This action aims to increase the job supply in the hotel sector, which has been growing significantly due to the major events the mayor has been holding in the city,” explained Secretary Manoel Vieira.
