On October 18, Vale launched applications for the highly anticipated 2024 Trainee Program, offering 30 positions for talents looking to contribute to the mining company’s operations in the states of Pará and Maranhão. This program is available for candidates from all over Brazil. Applications will remain open until November 13 and can be made on the website www.vale.com/trainee.

Development Opportunity at Vale

The Vale 2024 Trainee Program represents a unique opportunity for recent graduates who share the mining company’s vision of enhancing the quality of life and shaping the future. The program offers a 12-month development journey, consisting of three pillars: practical learning, formal learning, and informal learning. The practical component covers 70% of the program, providing challenging experiences and projects in the participant’s assignment area.

Requirements for Participation in the Vale Trainee Program

To apply, candidates must have completed a higher education degree in engineering or geology at an institution recognized by the Ministry of Education since December 2020. Additionally, candidates who are expected to graduate by December 2023 are also eligible, regardless of age and previous work experience. All positions require presence in the municipalities of Pará and Maranhão, where Vale has its operations.

Selection Process and Hiring Forecast

The selection process for the Vale 2024 Trainee Program takes place from October to December 2023, involving online tests, online panels in the intermediate phases, and an in-person panel in the final stage. Hiring is expected to occur in January or February 2024.
