Largest Investment by Vibra in the North Region Increases Storage Capacity by 58.3%
In a strategic move to strengthen its position in the fuel and energy distribution market, Vibra Energia announced a significant investment of R$ 90 million for the expansion of its operational base at the Port of Belém, Pará. This initiative not only increases the liquid fuel storage capacity by 58.3% but also establishes the company as a leader in logistics infrastructure in the North region of Brazil.
A Strategic Vision for Fuel Supply
The expansion of the base at the Port of Belém symbolizes Vibra’s largest individual investment in an operational unit in the North of the country. With this investment, the installed storage capacity jumped from 48,000m³ to 76,000m³. This remarkable increase in capacity allows Vibra to more efficiently meet the growing demand for fuels in the region, ensuring a stable and secure supply for the state of Pará and adjacent areas.
Vibra, already established as the leading distributor of fuels and energy in Brazil, reaffirms with this investment its commitment to providing the best service to its customers. In addition to improving delivery and consumer experience, the expansion of the base at the Port of Belém aims to optimize distribution logistics, replacing road transport with waterway and coastal transport, resulting in reduced costs and significant environmental benefits.

Innovation and Sustainability in Fuel Supply
In addition to reinforcing its market leadership, Vibra introduces a new model for supplying biofuels, favoring transportation by large-scale modes. This approach not only reduces greenhouse gas emissions but also optimizes the supply of other derivatives through maritime and fluvial means. This strategic advancement highlights the company’s vision of promoting sustainable and economical solutions in the fuel sector.
The new infrastructure at the Port of Belém also aims to expand Vibra’s presence in the maritime diesel market, addressing the growing demand from vessels operating in the region. This demonstrates the company’s ability to adapt and serve specific market niches, further strengthening its strategic position in Pará.
A Cycle of Investments Connecting Pará to the Future
The expansion project at the Port of Belém is part of a cycle of investments by Vibra in Pará, including the construction of the Santarém Base, expected to be delivered mid-year. These infrastructure investments are crucial for integrating Pará into the so-called “Northern Logistic Arc,” meeting both the fuel demands of agribusiness in the North and Midwest regions and the growth of agricultural production.
Vibra’s efforts to expand its logistical network reflect the company’s strategy to increase its presence in strategic markets, aiming for sustainable growth. With investments also in the Northeast and Midwest, Vibra strengthens its infrastructure to meet the growing demand for fossil fuels and biofuels, maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency in its operations.
