Transformers Produced by WEG Will Be Installed at the Third Plant of Inpasa Brazil, Located in Dourados (MS). Unit Will Start Operating by Mid This Year!
WEG reinforces its presence in the corn ethanol segment through various supplies made for plants throughout Brazil, and this time consolidates another major supply for Inpasa. Considered the largest producer of corn ethanol in Latin America, Inpasa chose WEG as its supplier to contribute to the construction of its third unit, located in Dourados (MS).
The solutions provided by WEG for this project are 53 dry-type transformers, with powers ranging from 225kVA to 3750kVA. These products bring reliability and safety to the operations of the company’s new unit, which is expected to start its activities in the first half of 2022.

Transformers Will Allow Increased Ethanol Production Capacity Without Interruptions
The supplied equipment will lower the voltage received from the local power transmission company, so that the client can power its loads and, safely, increase its ethanol production capacity without interruptions.
