Last Week, the European Airline Wizz Air Announced That It Will Recruit Flight Attendants in Brazil. Being a Low-Cost Carrier, It Will Have a Robust Selection Process to Hire New Employees for Its Staff.
Founded in Hungary, Wizz Air has expanded its international presence, having subsidiaries in the United Kingdom, Spain, and the United Arab Emirates. Additionally, the company belongs to the Indigo Partners group, which also controls the American Frontier Airlines and the Chinese JetSmart.
In practice, all these companies stand out for their low-cost model, as the Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft have the maximum number of seats possible, reducing travel costs and allowing for lower fares for the population. Thus, it is necessary to increase the number of flight attendants to support the staffing of these companies.
On its LinkedIn profile, Wizz Air announced its search for recruitment in Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay, and Argentina. The initiative aims to recruit flight attendants to work in Bulgaria, Poland, and Cyprus.

What Does a Flight Attendant Do?
Also known as cabin crew, a flight attendant is the professional responsible for safety and organization on an air trip. In practice, they must direct how the flight is conducted internally, to ensure safety and comfort for passengers.
To do this, they must welcome passengers, guide them to their seats, and assist in stowing carry-on luggage inside the aircraft. Moreover, other responsibilities of the flight attendant include transmitting information, checking safety conditions at the seats, and also serving food and beverages to the passengers.
However, as various situations may arise during a flight, it is recommended that those interested in becoming flight attendants have self-control and good communication skills. This is because it is necessary to know how to deal with unexpected and tense situations on some flights.
