Companies Will Offer a Quick and Free Course Focused on Beginner Women in the Technology Sector
Kenzie Academy and the human resources startup DUPLA will start 2022 with a goal: to reduce gender inequality in the technology segment. The institutions partnered to establish the initiative “Elas Codam,” which provides 50,000 spots for women in a free course aimed at training professionals for beginners in the field. There will be 30 hours of content with live classes, in addition to real-time support and a certificate of completion at the end. The course will take place from January 10 to 13.

Daniel Kriger, executive director and co-founder of Kenzie, stated that the course was developed to present programming with practical content that is accessible on a large scale. According to Miriam Koga, founder of DUPLA, it was designed to showcase the technology market and its possibilities for women. “We are very excited about this partnership, as it will be the first edition of a free Kenzie course focused solely on the female audience, and only with female instructors, which will make it an even more unique opportunity for those interested,” she says.
About the Programming Course
The course will be 100% online and free, taking place from January 10 to 13, 2022. There will be four live classes to learn about the programming market and how to create a professional project from scratch. The course will be taught by Amanda Karoline and Maria Porcina, both are teaching facilitators at Kenzie Academy.
