More Than 60 Thousand Vacancies in Free Online and EAD Courses

The project takes place twice a year during the months of January and July and is part of the Group’s Social Responsibility calendar. This year, due to measures against the new coronavirus pandemic, many activities will be conducted online in EAD format.

However, some units are already conducting activities in person. In total, the 70 thousand vacancies will be distributed across free online courses in all areas of education. Among the highlighted topics are:

• Basic and Advanced Excel Course
• Nutrition and Food

President of Ser Educacional Comments

According to Jânyo Diniz, president of Ser Educacional, the Capacita program has already become a “tradition” in its units and offers vacancies for the professional qualification of various people.

According to the executive, even with the pandemic last year, Ser Educacional is finding ways to ensure that the population does not go without the project that offers various free online courses, now in EAD format, which prepare many students for the job market. Furthermore, according to the director, despite some units returning to in-person activities, the guidelines from local health authorities are never overlooked.

In addition to promoting education for the local population with the offered courses, the project also helps needy institutions with donations of non-perishable food, personal hygiene materials, and cleaning supplies collected at the time of registration for the free online courses.
