With Modern Design, 293 cc Flex Engine and Consumption That Can Exceed 37 km/l, the Honda CB 300F Establishes Itself as One of the Most Sought-After Motorcycles in Brazil.

The new Honda motorcycle, the Honda CB 300F Twister, has gained traction on Brazilian streets and is being adopted as a popular choice among urban motorcyclists. The model has started to attract both beginners and experienced users by combining an updated design, embedded technology, and economical performance. With LED headlights, a digital dashboard with a USB-C port, and a consumption rate close to 40 km per liter with gasoline, the mid-range naked bike is consolidating itself as one of the main bets of the Japanese manufacturer in the country.

Available in CBS or ABS brake versions, the CB 300F features a 293.5 cm³ flex engine, a six-speed gearbox, and a slipper assist clutch. With a suggested price starting at R$ 22,370 (CBS), the model is positioned as an entry-level option with characteristics of higher category motorcycles. The performance is balanced, comfort meets various usage profiles, and the structure has been designed to handle both urban traffic and longer routes.

Sporty Design with Modern Technology

The Honda CB 300F boasts a design inspired by the Hornet line, featuring angular lines, a redesigned fuel tank, and side fairings. One of the highlights of the model is the LED optical ensemble, found in the front headlight, rear light, and turn signals, enhancing visibility and offering a more modern appearance.

Another item highly valued by the public is the blackout LCD dashboard, which replaces the traditional analog panel and incorporates information such as speed, fuel level, tachometer, gear indicator, clock, and instantaneous consumption. The presence of a USB Type C port allows the rider to charge mobile devices directly from the motorcycle, adding functionality for urban use.

Performance Tailored for Daily Use

Equipped with a single-cylinder engine producing 24.7 hp with ethanol and a maximum torque of 2.61 kgfm, the CB 300F delivers progressive acceleration and good control at low and mid-range RPMs. The six-speed transmission improves performance on highways and helps maintain low consumption levels.

According to tests conducted in the lab, the Honda CB 300F achieves up to 39.75 km/l with gasoline and around 25.5 km/l with ethanol. In real-world conditions, motorcyclists report averages exceeding 35 km/l in urban cycles, representing high autonomy for a tank with a 14.1-liter capacity.

Adjusted Suspension and Functional Ergonomics

The motorcycle’s structure features a diamond-type chassis, telescopic front suspension with 41 mm tubes, and a monoshock rear suspension. This configuration ensures good absorption of irregularities and provides stability in corners. The 17-inch alloy wheels are fitted with wide tires: 110/70 in the front and 150/60 in the rear.

The seat of the CB 300F is positioned at 789 mm from the ground, allowing comfortable access for riders of different heights. The bike weighs 139 kg dry, favoring agile handling and facilitating maneuvers in heavy traffic.

Safety with ABS or CBS Brakes

The Honda motorcycle is offered in two brake configurations: CBS (Combined Braking System) and ABS (anti-lock braking system). In the CBS version, the system automatically distributes braking between the front and rear wheels, while in the ABS version, the system prevents locking during hard braking, adding additional safety.

Both versions use ventilated discs on both wheels. The price difference between the versions is around R$ 1,000, which makes the upgrade to ABS viable for those seeking more control on wet surfaces or in emergency situations.

Comparison with Other Honda Motorcycles in the Category

In Honda’s motorcycle portfolio, the CB 300F is positioned between the CG 160 Titan and the XRE 300. Compared to the Titan, the CB 300F offers more power, modern equipment, and larger size. In relation to the XRE 300, which has a more adventurous profile and longer suspension travel, the CB 300F is better suited for urban and conventional highway use, with ergonomics focused on riding on asphalt.

In the street naked segment, the CB 300F competes with models like Yamaha Fazer FZ25 and Haojue DR 300, but stands out for its set of embedded electronics, brand reliability, and cost-effectiveness. The extensive service network and availability of parts also count in favor of the Honda model.

Usage Profile and Market Acceptance

The acceptance of the Honda CB 300F has been positive, especially among young people looking for a modern, economical, and visually appealing motorcycle. The bike has also been considered by those making intercity trips and seeking a reliable model for everyday use. In addition to its low consumption, simple maintenance, and the well-established name of the brand strengthen the demand for the model at dealerships.
