Subsidiary of Angola, a subsidiary of Azule Energy Holdings Limited (“Azule Energy”), awarded a significant contract to Aker Solutions for the supply of dynamic and static subsea umbilicals for the development of the Agogo field, in the West Hub Area of Block 15/06, located off the coast of Angola.
A total of 36 kilometers of dynamic and static production control subsea umbilicals, along with spare parts and auxiliary equipment and services, are part of the work scope of the contract.
The Aker Solutions facility in Moss, Norway, is where the umbilicals will be produced. The Norwegian company is beginning work, and completion is scheduled for the end of the second quarter of 2024.

Maria Peralta, Executive Vice President and Head of Aker Solutions’ Subsea Division, expressed her excitement in extending the company’s long-standing partnership with the firm.
The contract is expected to be recorded as an order intake for the Subsea division in the first quarter of 2023.
Aker Solutions considers any contract between NOK 0.5 billion and NOK 1.5 billion to be significant. (NOK = Norwegian Krone = Current currency of Norway)
