Free training offers quick courses in technology, programming, database, design, automation, and digital security, with distance learning, certification, and simple selection by order of registration. The IFSULDEMINAS Campus Machado notice provides for 1,950 vacancies distributed in 13 options, all without any fee.

IFSULDEMINAS Campus Machado has opened registrations for 1,950 vacancies in 13 free extension courses in the EAD modality, with quick training in technology, programming, database, design, automation, digital security, and web development.

With selection made by order of registration, the deadline to participate is until June 7, 2026, at 11:59 PM, according to Notice No. 34/2026, published on May 26, 2026.

Each course offers 30 hours of duration, 150 available vacancies, and classes are expected between June 8 and 26, 2026, in a fully distance format, without registration or tuition fees.

In the Initial and Continuing Training modality, known as FIC, the training aims to serve people interested in short-term professional qualification, focusing on digital skills applied to study, work, and requalification.

Free technology courses at IFSULDEMINAS

The selection gathers options for those who intend to start in the technology area and also for participants who already have some familiarity with digital tools, programming, website creation, databases, or process automation.

Among the available training are Introduction to Programming with Python, Basic SQL and Introduction to Databases, Git & GitHub, Website Design with Figma, and N8N Intelligent Automation and Integrations.

The offer also includes Introduction to the Linux System, Programming Logic and Versioning with GitHub, Practical Database: Modeling and SQL with MySQL, Maker, and Technology Fundamentals for Public Competitions.

Completing the list are Web Development with HTML and CSS, Internet Security Fundamentals, and Web Development Fundamentals, courses aimed at creating pages, safe internet use, and introduction to professional practices in the area.

Linux, Figma, and initial digital skills

In the Linux course, the training covers free software, distributions like Ubuntu and Mint, file management, navigation in graphical interface, and first commands in the terminal, providing a foundation for those seeking autonomy in open systems.

The Figma training works on UX and UI Design fundamentals, focusing on creating interfaces for websites, covering planning, visual construction, prototyping, and using the tool in projects aimed at user experience.

The introductory courses were organized to present concepts and practices progressively, allowing students, workers, and other interested parties to develop familiarity with digital environments used in companies, studies, and personal projects.

Python, SQL, GitHub, and intelligent automation

Among the most sought-after options in technology, Python appears as an entry point for programming logic and the development of simple solutions, with frequent application in automation, data analysis, educational projects, and web systems.

In the database area, the program includes a basic training in SQL and a more practical one with MySQL, including creation and manipulation of relational databases, filters, joins, modeling, normalization, and use of keys.

Aimed at version control, the Git & GitHub course presents local configuration, repository publishing, online collaboration, merge conflict resolution, and notions of professional flow with Gitflow, a common resource in development teams.

The n8n training deals with intelligent automation and integration between systems, with content related to automated processes, external APIs, JavaScript, and applications with artificial intelligence, including LangChain, agents, RAG, chatbots, and sentiment analysis.

Digital security, exams, and web development

In addition to the tracks directly related to programming, the package includes courses applicable to studies, work, and everyday internet use, especially for those who wish to improve basic computer and digital protection knowledge.

Technology Fundamentals for Public Exams covers topics required by exam boards, such as hardware, software, operating systems, networks, Office suite, LibreOffice, and information security, focusing on content recurrent in exams.

In Internet Security Fundamentals, participants study confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information, as well as identification of virtual scams, phishing, malware, password management, and two-factor authentication.

In web development courses, the content is divided between creating responsive pages with HTML and CSS and fundamentals of HTML5 and CSS3, with emphasis on structuring, usability, responsiveness, and professional initiation.

Another aspect of the selection is the Maker course, which integrates Arduino, ESP32, Internet of Things, cloud storage, and 3D modeling, bringing participants closer to prototyping projects, physical automation, and technological solutions.

Who can participate in the free EAD courses

The spots are open to students, professionals, workers in training or retraining, entrepreneurs, public servants, exam candidates, and others interested in developing digital skills through quick and free courses.

To participate, candidates must be at least 16 years old, have completed elementary school, possess a CPF, a valid email, and internet access, which are the minimum requirements set by IFSULDEMINAS for enrollment in the courses.

People with disabilities participate on equal terms with other candidates, according to the rules outlined in the announcement, which guides the selection until the 150 available spots in each course are filled.

When the limit of spots is reached, other interested parties may join a waiting list, with the possibility of new calls depending on availability and following the official publications of Campus Machado.

Certificate of the free courses at IFSULDEMINAS

After selection, the participants called must confirm their enrollment by accessing the course platform, a necessary procedure to confirm participation in the activities scheduled between June 8 and 26, 2026.

It is the responsibility of the course participant to monitor the messages sent to the registered email, even before the start of classes, as this channel will gather access instructions, platform information, and communications related to the chosen course.

Certification will be granted to participants who meet the minimum requirements and achieve at least 60% of the total score at the end of the course, according to the conditions established in the announcement.

As the classes will be conducted remotely, candidates must also ensure access to the necessary technological resources to follow the content, complete activities, and meet the deadlines defined during the course.

According to the amendment published on May 28, 2026, only one registration per candidate will be allowed in each course, without duplication, and the options indicated must be different when there is a first and second choice.

How to enroll in the free EAD courses

Registrations must be made online, on the extension courses portal of IFSULDEMINAS Campus Machado, in a specific form for each course, within the deadline provided in Notice No. 34/2026.

In the registration, the candidate must choose the desired course, fill in the requested information, and follow the announcement of the final result, scheduled for June 8, 2026, on the official campus website.
