AES Tietê Energia Seeks Electrical Technician With Experience to Work in MG and RS

Lilian, Talent Acquisition at AES Tietê, informed this morning (25) that the power generator AES Tietê Energia is hiring Electrical Technicians to work on Distributed Generation projects in the states of MG and RS. The power generator AES Tietê Energia, part of the AES group, reported a consolidated net profit of R$ 104.9 million in the fourth quarter of 2018, an increase of 141.9% compared to the same period last year.

AES contributed to the result with an increase of R$ 60.7 million in hydropower margins, mainly explained by a decrease in energy purchase. The company also recorded gains from its seasonalization and energy marketing strategies.

In a separate statement, the company updated its investment projections between 2019 and 2023, during which it intends to invest approximately R$ 662 million. The investments will be directed towards modernization and maintenance of its operating assets and the expansion of activities, mainly for completing the construction of its solar parks, the company said.
