The staff agreement is for 3 years with the company. The first call was received for the platform supply ship “Normand Swift”.
Built in 2014, the Normand Swift will be with Exxon for a period of 3 months, starting in December 2020.
Also in Brazil, Solstad won several extensions in August with oil companies Total and Equinor.
The Norwegian ships Normand Swift PSV and Far Sagaris AHTSTotal have extended offers until December 2020 with Total.
Equinor, on the other hand, has extended the contracts of PSVs Sea Brasil and Far Scotsman by one year to December 2021 and six months to May 2022 respectively.
This is not Solstad's first PSV vessel contract this week. The vessel owner has also secured contracts for its offshore supply vessels in Norway. Contracts are with Wintershall Dea and Aker BP.
