The main benefit of implementing solar energy generation panels is both environmental and financial. Regarding the environment, the use of renewable and clean energy contributes to the concept of sustainability. Meanwhile, the financial aspect aims at cost reduction, which can reach a minimum amount to be paid on the electricity bill.

Since its launch in 2018, Atlas Solar aims to attract negotiations in the solar energy sector throughout the state.

After two years since its launch, we can make a somewhat positive analysis, focusing on the installed capacity of photovoltaic sources in distributed solar energy generation in the Northeast region, which is only behind Ceará, the state with the highest capacity for distributed solar energy generation.
