Goodbye SUV From Citroën? Manufacturer Is In Poor Shape In Sales In The Brazilian Market, Totaling Only 463 Units Sold, Remaining Behind Competitors Like Pulse, Tracker, And Creta
The Citroën C4 Cactus debuted in the Brazilian market, bringing a revolutionary design and a unique approach. However, sales of the Citroën SUV are below expectations. So far, only 463 units have been sold in 2024 (from January to March), suggesting disappointing sales performance compared to rivals Fiat Pulse, Hyundai Creta, and Chevrolet Tracker.
There are still no confirmations regarding the fate of the SUV model C4 Cactus, and any forecasts are mere speculation, including ours.

Recently, Citroën has been focused on launching its two new models, the C3 and the C3 AirCross, which have been performing well so far. Here are some reasons why sales of the C4 Cactus SUV have been a disaster:

- Intense Competition: The compact SUV market in Brazil is extremely competitive. There are several models, some more affordable or better equipped, vying for consumer preference.
- High Price: The most affordable version of the C4 Cactus SUV is sold for R$ 111,990, according to the configurator on the official brand website. This is more expensive than the Fiat Pulse, almost the same price as the Nissan Kicks, and slightly cheaper than the Hyundai Creta and the GM Tracker. Competing in this price range is challenging.
- Lack of Updates: Since its launch in 2018, the SUV has not received significant updates, which may turn away some potential buyers.
Strengths of the C4 Cactus: Despite Low Sales, the Citroën SUV Has Multiple Qualities:
- Innovative Design: The unique style of the C4 Cactus is still one of its biggest attractions.
- Comfort: The vehicle has generous dimensions for a compact SUV, measuring 1.71 meters in width, 1.48 meters in height, 4.17 meters in length, and a wheelbase of 2.60 meters, offering good interior space.
- Advanced Technology: The SUV comes equipped with a 10-inch touchscreen multimedia center, 3D-effect taillights, and safety features such as automatic activation of hazard lights during hard braking, automatic locking of doors and trunk in motion, ESP (electronic stability control), and ASR (anti-skid system).
Despite these features, sales continue to fall short of expectations, even though the vehicle has good specifications. It is premature to define the future of the C4 Cactus in Brazil.
Lastly, it is important to note that Citroën has confirmed the launch of a new SUV, the Basalt, for the Brazilian market later this year, already announced on the homepage of the official website of the manufacturer.

A frenagem de emergência confere mais segurança. Consumo de 14km/l (G) e 10,5 (E) são compatíveis com o veículo e desempenho.
Com relação ao valor do carro, o zero km pode ser encontrado por valores bem abaixo da tabela. Muito satisfeito!
Tenho um C4 Cactus Shine Pack THP BiTon, a muito tempo que não tinha um Carro Tão Bom, a Cereja do Bolo chama -se THP da BMW e MiniCooper, Poucas Pessoas sabem desse Detalhe, além de Andar Muito, no caso de Leve Acelerador chega aos 14 Km/L na Rodovia e 11,5 Km/Lna Cidade com Gasolina,como o Desempenho dele Melhora Muito com o Etanol, ultimamente estou usando esse Biocombustivel que Não Polui e Anda Mais, o C 4 tem alguns detalhes que Faltam num Carro do Valor dele, mas a Compensação vem no Motor, na Altura do Solo, no Ângulo de Entrada e Saída, assim como o Controle de Tração Gripen onde melhora a condução Terra,Lama, Areia e Alerta de 💥 Colisão, Relação Custo/Benefício Muito Boa com Peso do Carro Abaixo dos Concorrentes e Torque Excelentes de Kgf/m 24,5 e Relação Peso Potência de Apenas 7kg/ CV, sem Falar no Design do Carro de um Porte que Impressionante, o meu é 21/22 e se Fabricar até o Fim do Ano compro outro com o Maior Prazer, esse Carro me Faz Lembrar do Audi A3 Turbo 2000 com 220 CV e também um GolGTI nos Anos 90 foram Marcantes pra mim, só não Entendo a Citroen querer Acabar com a Cereja do Bolo o Nosso Potente THP.
Tenho um C4 feel pack 2022 um ótimo carro, confortável,bom desempenho mesmo na versão aspirada,um câmbio AT muito bom, não tenho o que reclamar
