Increase in Aeris Energy Exports
São Paulo, March 26, 2025 — Aeris Energy (AERI3), one of the leaders in wind blade manufacturing in Latin America, recently announced its financial and operational results for the fourth quarter of 2024 (Q4 2024). During this period, the company achieved a noteworthy advance in the external market, with exports growing from a mere R$ 5 million in the third quarter of 2024 (Q3 2024) to an extraordinary R$ 67.2 million. This substantial increase in exports accounted for 31.8% of the net revenue in the last quarter of 2024, marking an impressive growth of 1,235% compared to the previous quarter.
Impact of External Demand and Market Growth
Despite the challenges faced in the domestic market, Aeris was able to expand its international operations, consolidating its position as a global supplier in the wind blade sector. By making the most of external demand and focusing on the growth of the market for maintenance and services abroad, the expectation is that this international participation will continue to increase in the coming years, states José de Azevedo, CFO of Aeris Energy. In Q4 2024, Aeris reported significant net revenue of R$ 1,516.5 million. In 2024, EBITDA was R$ 138.8 million, corresponding to a margin of 9.2%. Investments totaled R$ 93.9 million throughout that year.
Operational Efficiency Strategies and Financial Planning
The results achieved reflect a strategic move by the company to adapt to the new dynamics of the industry. This move involved investments in operational efficiency and financial strengthening, bolstered by promising long-term prospects. Among the key strategies is the renegotiation of debts with longer terms and the review of financial conditions, expected to be completed by the end of Q1 2025. The expansion of the service unit has also been a major focus, reinforcing the company’s presence in the United States and Latin America, thereby increasing the availability of specialized services for international clients.
Adaptation to New Dynamics and Future Projections
Aeris has also intensified its collaboration with the Government and sector entities to strengthen the wind energy market. With the current backlog, Aeris projects a gradual recovery scenario over the next few years. The North American market is expected to be one of the main drivers of this growth, offering new business opportunities. These opportunities are driven by increased operational efficiency and the strengthening of renewable energy within the global energy matrix. According to José de Azevedo, the intensified internationalization strategy in 2024 paves a solid path for the coming years. The company is prepared to seize opportunities in the global wind market and expand its operations sustainably and effectively.
