ANP – National Oil Agency Launches a State-of-the-Art Tool for Data Visualization Called Dynamic Consultation Panel for Forecasting Activities, Investments and Productions in the Production Phase.
This interactive tool from the National Oil Agency uses a sophisticated business intelligence (BI) system to provide users with an unmatched level of data analysis.
Learn more details about the National Oil Agency’s new platform: Among the commands within the new platform of the National Oil Agency, the panel provides access to insights on investment projections, activities and production for the next five years. These projections are based on the Annual Work and Budget Programs (PAT) and Annual Production Programs (PAP) presented by contractors.
By using filters, users can classify activities based on the basin, environment (offshore or onshore) or state. These filters can also generate investment projections available in both dollars and reais.

National Oil Agency Holds Workshop on Biocombustibles
Two workshops were held on March 6 to discuss proposed amendments to Resolution ANP No. 734/2018, presented as part of the Preliminary Report on Regulatory Impact Analysis (RPAIR), which is currently open for public consultation. Resolution ANP 734/2018 consolidates the regulatory framework for biocombustible production, encompassing the authorization for the exercise of these productive activities and the authorization for the operation of production facilities.
The first session, held in the morning, focused on biodiesel and biometan producers, while the afternoon was directed at ethanol producers. Patrícia Baran, Director of Fuel Production, highlighted the importance of the event. “The workshop revealed the regulatory studies conducted by the ANP to support any proposed amendments to Resolution ANP No. 734/2018, allowing for the examination of various elements proposed by the RPAIR, such as identified regulatory improvements, examined alternatives, and intended regulatory objectives.”
