The Chevrolet Onix is currently one of the best-selling vehicles in Brazil, winning over drivers with its recognized quality. However, the price of a new model can be an obstacle for many buyers.

A more affordable option is the Onix LT 1.4 2014, which offers an ideal balance between price and performance. Prices range from R$ 36 thousand to R$ 40 thousand, and the car is equipped with a 1.4 8V engine, capable of generating power from 98 to 106 horsepower and a torque of 13.9/13.0 kgfm at 4,800 rpm.

On the other hand, the Chevrolet Corsa II Maxx 1.4 2012, another model well-loved by the Brazilian public, has recently ceased production. However, it remains a popular choice among those looking for a more economical alternative to a new car.

The Corsa II Maxx 2012 has prices ranging from R$ 34 thousand to R$ 39 thousand, with a 1.6 8V engine, offering power from 101 to 104 horsepower and a torque of 15.6/15.4 kgfm at 2,500 rpm.

Discover the History of Chevrolet Classics

Developed and produced by General Motors in Brazil, the Chevrolet Onix was unveiled at the São Paulo Auto Show in 2012. Since then, it has become one of the best-selling cars in the country, generating several new versions.

The Chevrolet Onix 2013 was the first compact hatchback in Brazil and debuted as a significant highlight, due to its modern details. At that time, it was the only one in the industry to offer a multimedia center and touch screen. In addition to its visual modernity, with a well-designed interior, robust lines, creases, and quality materials, this version was able to unsettle the competition in its initial months of sales.

The Chevrolet Corsa was launched precisely in January 1994. At that time, it was possible to foresee the success of the small GM, as its predecessors were well outdated and the model came with the same attributes from the Old Continent to replace the Chevette, including the pioneering feature of being the first 1-liter car with electronic injection in Brazil.

With attractive design, great interior space, as well as above-average drivability and comfort, it arrived only in the Wind version, two doors, which, although spartan, had many more features than its competitors.

Chevrolet Plans to Bring the Monza Back to the Market

Chevrolet plans to relaunch the Monza, betting on nostalgia and proven quality to regain a prominent position in the automotive market. The new generation has been marketed since 2018 and, in 2020, began to fill the gap left by the Cruze.

Due to the ongoing remodeling, the Chevrolet classic also returned with improved finish and more technology as described. In design, the Chevrolet Monza is very similar to the Onix, Blazer, and Cruze, measuring 4.66 m with a wheelbase of 2.64 m.
