Get to Know Ambev
Ambev was founded in 1999, from the union of the centenary Brahma Brewery and Companhia Antarctica. However, its history began much earlier, when it was still two breweries in the 1880s: Companhia Antarctica Paulista and Manufactura de Cerveja Brahma & Villeger & Companhia. Since then, over a century, it has gone through countless moments together, from the most incredible celebrations to unforgettable football matches.
Ambev is with its customer in the best moments and, throughout this time, continues to grow to strengthen the bonds with its customer even more.
Ambev is part of Anheuser-Busch Inbev, known as AB Inbev, which resulted from the union of Ambev’s pioneering spirit, with Interbrew’s Belgian quality and Anheuser-Busch’s tradition. Currently, the company has about 200 beverage brands. In addition to Budweiser, it includes Stella Artois, Leffe, Bud Light, Skol, Antarctica, Brahma, Quilmes, Harbin, Sedrin, among others.
