EDF Renewables Brazil Is Authorized to Commission Wind Power Plant in Campo Formoso, Bahia
This Tuesday (21), the approval from the National Electric Energy Agency (Aneel) for EDF Renewables Brazil to start commissioning the wind power plant Ventos de São Januário 14, in the municipality of Campo Formoso, Bahia, was published in the Official Gazette of the Union.

The plant is located in the city of Campo Formoso, Bahia. The commercial operation of the wind farm will start after successful completion of the testing phase, with a total installed capacity of 21 MW.
Established three years ago in Brazil, EDF Renewables is among the leaders in the country in the renewable energy sector, totaling about 1GW in wind and solar energy projects, already considering initiatives that are in operation and in the construction phase.

Wind Farm in RN Receives R$ 208 Million Financing Approval from BNDES
The National Bank for Economic and Social Development (BNDES) approved financing for the special purpose company (SPE) Ventos de Santa Sofia Energias Renováveis for the implementation of the wind power plant Ventos de Santa Martina 14, located in Rio Grande do Norte.
The wind farm is part of the Casa dos Ventos group and is one of eight located in the Rio do Vento Wind Complex, currently under construction, with 504 megawatts of total installed capacity.
