Petrobras Trained Over 500 Apprentices Last Tuesday (10/11) in the Areas of Logistics, Electrical, Technology, Production, Hydraulic, Piping, Mechanical, Among Others.
After Opening a Notice with 734 Vacancies in the First Semester of This Year, Petrobras announced in a relevant market fact that it will start receiving new young apprentices on November 7th, in 14 states and the Federal District.
The company’s Apprentice Program aims to promote social inclusion through professional qualification, contributing to the integration of young people into the labor market.
According to the announcement, in addition to opportunities for general recruitment, there are also exclusive vacancies for people with disabilities (10%), adolescents who have exited child labor (10%), and those in institutional care (15%).

Young people aged 14 to 22 receive training classes and develop professional practice activities at the National Service of Industrial Learning (Senai). In addition, technical visits to Petrobras facilities are scheduled.
The vocational courses cover various areas such as Logistics, Electrical, Information Technology, Production Line, Web Programming, Hydraulic, Building Piping, Mechanical, and others.
Young people are entitled to a minimum wage and other benefits such as a 13th salary, vacation, transportation voucher, and optional complementary pension plan. The registration of the special apprenticeship contract in the Work and Social Security Booklet is done directly by Petrobras.
Graduation of Over 514 Young People Took Place at SESI in Rio de Janeiro
Last Tuesday (10/11), the graduation of another 514 young people, who completed previous cycles (2021/2022) of the program, took place. The ceremony was held at the Social Service of Industry (SESI) in Rio de Janeiro, with simultaneous broadcasts to various Senai units across the country.
During the training period, in addition to theoretical and practical classes, the apprentices participated in an innovation challenge (Saga Senai of Innovation), where they interacted with Petrobras professionals and developed solutions for real problems faced by the company.
