Honda Is Launching a Lineup for 2026 That Includes High Displacement, Commemorative Edition, and Special Version of Trail Model, at a Time of Consolidated Leadership in the Brazilian Motorcycle Market and Growing Competition Among Major Manufacturers.
Honda plans to launch three new motorcycles in the Brazilian market in 2026, in a strategy that involves different segments and consumer profiles.
The initiative comes at a time when the manufacturer maintains its leadership in registrations in the country.
According to data from Fenabrave, the cumulative sales volume reached 1,338,060 units by November 2025, a result that keeps the brand ahead of competitors in the national market.

With a 1.0 engine producing 75 hp and costing less than R$ 70,000, Fiat’s car returns to the podium as the cheapest in the country; a temporary promotion for the 2026 Like version reduces the price of the Fiat Mobi.

With a mild hybrid system of 48 V, 176 hp and a price of R$ 175,990 in the Sahara version, the new Jeep Renegade changes mostly on the inside, improves slightly in fuel consumption, and remains almost the same car.

With a 293.5 cm³ engine and a range of up to 400 km with a 14.1-liter tank, the Honda CB 300F Twister 2026 has up to 24.7 hp, an initial price of R$ 25,150, and already exceeds R$ 29,000 in the Fipe Table.

With a 1.3 engine, nearly 700 km of range, and Turbo 200, the Fiat model surpasses Polo, Tera HB20, and Onix, becoming the best-selling car in March; see the numbers for the Fiat Strada and others.
Within this scenario, the company is working on launches that range from higher displacement models to motorcycles focused on urban use and the trail segment.
The strategy includes the arrival of a new naked with a thousand cc engine, a commemorative edition of an established model, and a special version of a motorcycle already in the portfolio.
CB 1000 Hornet Expands Honda’s Presence in the High Displacement Segment

Among the planned launches, the Honda CB 1000 Hornet is expected to hit the Brazilian market in the first quarter of 2026.
The motorcycle will be offered in two versions, Standard and SP, according to information already released by the manufacturer.
The model uses an engine derived from the CBR 1000 RR Fireblade family, with a maximum power of up to 157 hp and torque of 10.6 kgf·m.
The aim is to cater to the high displacement naked segment, which attracts consumers interested in performance combined with electronic riding assistance features.
The technological package includes electronic throttle, riding modes, traction control, and engine brake adjustment.
All these functions are managed via a color TFT display, which is also responsible for consolidating the main usage information of the motorcycle.
In the braking system, the CB 1000 Hornet features dual discs at the front and single disc at the rear, with components supplied by Nissin in the entry-level version.
CG 50 Years Celebrates Five Decades of the Best-Selling Model in the Country

Another launch scheduled for 2026 is the Honda CG 50 Years, a special edition developed to mark five decades of the CG line in Brazil.
The model plays a central role in the brand’s history in the country and continues to be the main sales volume for the manufacturer.
According to data from Fenabrave, the CG family accumulated 437,088 units registered by November 2025, maintaining its position as the best-selling motorcycle in the Brazilian market during that period.
This performance helps explain Honda’s decision to invest in a commemorative edition of the model.
The special version features visual changes inspired by the first generation of the CG, launched in 1976.
The changes include colors, graphics, and specific logos, previously presented at internal brand events.
So far, Honda has not confirmed any mechanical changes for this edition.
Thus, the expectation is that the CG 50 Years will maintain the already known setup of the current line, with an engine that delivers up to 15.1 hp of power and 1.54 kgf·m of torque, figures that follow the standard of the versions currently sold.
The expected arrival in the market is also for the first quarter of 2026.
XR 300L Tornado Special Edition Bets on a Competition-Inspired Look

Wrapping up the list of launches, the Honda XR 300L Tornado will receive a Special Edition throughout 2026.
The motorcycle, originally introduced in 2024, will feature new color and graphic options inspired by the CRF line bikes used in rally competitions, such as the Dakar Rally.
Despite the visual update, the mechanical setup remains unchanged.
The model continues to be equipped with a 300 cc engine, delivering 24.8 hp of power and 2.74 kgf·m of torque.
The aim of the Tornado remains focused on mixed use, combining urban travel with off-road routes.
Among the retained equipment are the digital display and the USB-C charging port for electronic devices.
These items continue to be part of the package offered in the line, with no announced changes for the special version.
Honda’s Strategy Aims at Different Profiles of Motorcyclists in 2026
With the three planned launches for 2026, Honda distributes its bets across different segments of the Brazilian motorcycle market.
The CB 1000 Hornet expands the brand’s presence in the high displacement segment, while the CG 50 Years reinforces an already established model in sales volume.
The XR 300L Tornado Special Edition, in turn, maintains the offering in the trail segment with a visual update.
According to information already released by the manufacturer, the strategy aims to maintain a broad portfolio, with products that cater to urban mobility as well as more specific uses, such as off-road.
This movement occurs in a competitive market, where other brands are also seeking to increase their share through new models and line updates.
