L’Oréal has been dedicated to beauty for over 100 years. With its unique international portfolio of 36 diverse and complementary brands, the L’Oréal Group generated sales of €29.87 billion in 2019 and employs 88,000 people worldwide. The company is currently accepting applications for its new internship program in Brazil, with positions available in different areas, with 50% of the positions dedicated to Black or Brown individuals.
As the world’s leading beauty company, L’Oréal is present in all distribution channels: mass market, department stores, pharmacies and drugstores, beauty salons, travel retail, brand retail, and e-commerce.
In Brazil, the fourth largest beauty market in the world, the company celebrated its 60th anniversary in 2019 and is one of the leaders among beauty companies, with a portfolio of 19 brands in the country, such as L’Oréal Paris, Maybelline, Garnier, Niely, Colorama, Kerastase, L’Oréal Professionnel, RedKen, La Roche-Posay, Vichy, SkinCeuticals, CeraVe, Lancôme, Diesel, Ralph Lauren, Giorgio Armani, Yves Saint Laurent, Urban Decay, and Cacharel.

About L’Oréal’s Internship Program
The program of the billion-dollar giant will have 50% of the positions dedicated to Black or Brown individuals, and English is not required; candidates can apply until November 9th.
The 2023 Internship Program has a maximum duration of 2 years and offers positions in areas such as marketing, commercial, HR, finance, digital, industrial logistics, projects, quality, and engineering.

Students have access to a development program called “L’Oréal Intern Pathway,” participating in training, integration, project leadership, and discussions about business and career. The idea is to prepare them for the possible next steps that the company offers, such as the International Internship Program (possibility of interning for six months at L’Oréal’s headquarters in France), the Trainee Program, and permanent positions.
Required Qualifications
To apply for the internship positions, candidates must be undergraduate students at least in their 4th semester and expect to graduate in at least a year; availability to live in Rio de Janeiro or São Paulo. With the L’Oréal For Young People initiative, 50% of the positions are designated for Black individuals, and English is not a prerequisite.
According to the director of L’Oréal Group in Brazil, Anne Jacobson, “We aim to have Brazilian diversity reflected in our team so that we can have a greater variety of viewpoints, perspectives, and knowledge to innovate and respond to our consumers’ needs.”
