BMW M3 CS Touring Surprises at Nürburgring, Breaking Previous Record and Showing That Station Wagons Still Have a Place Among Elite Sports Cars

Those who think the era of station wagons is in the past haven’t seen what BMW has done. The M3 CS Touring has set a new record at the Nürburgring-Nordschleife, completing the lap in 7m29s490. This achievement places the model among the fastest production vehicles from the German brand.

The 3.0-liter six-cylinder twin-turbo engine delivers 550 hp and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds. The top speed reaches 300 km/h.

In addition, the M Steptronic 8-speed transmission, combined with the M xDrive all-wheel drive system, ensures quick responses and excellent grip, even in extreme situations.

The German circuit, known as the “Green Hell,” is one of the most demanding tests in the world, measuring over 20 km and featuring more than 70 curves.

Therefore, a good time at Nürburgring signifies high performance. The new record surpassed the mark of the previous M3 Touring by nearly 6 seconds, showcasing significant evolution.

A Place of Tradition and Challenge

BMW uses Nürburgring as its official testing center. Besides serving as a track for development, the location also holds historical value for the brand, which has accumulated achievements in endurance racing.

The result achieved by the M3 CS Touring reinforces the manufacturer’s commitment to high-level engineering and the pursuit of innovation.

Functional and Sporty Design

The new station wagon combines the performance of a track car with practicality for daily use. This means it can cater to those seeking versatility without compromising supercar performance.

The interior space and refined finish make the model appealing even to families that value comfort and style.

In the end, the BMW M3 CS Touring proves that it is possible to combine power, technology, and utility in one car. The brand shows that there is still room for fast station wagons in the market, keeping the tradition alive and exploring new limits.
