Bosch Series 8 combines Zeolith, automatic opening, Home Connect, and intelligent sensors to elevate the standard of connected dishwashers.

Bosch has included some of the most advanced features of its dishwasher line in the Series 8, combining enhanced drying, connectivity, and automation in models aimed at increasingly technological kitchens. In the brand’s official technical specifications, the line features technologies such as PerfectDry, Home Connect, intelligent programs, and low-noise operation, reinforcing the manufacturer’s positioning in a more sophisticated segment.

In practice, the proposal goes beyond conventional washing. Depending on the model configuration, the Series 8 includes drying with Zeolith, automatic door opening, app connectivity, voice commands, automatic adjustment sensors, and a brushless motor, forming a package aimed at efficiency, convenience, and integration with the connected home ecosystem.

PerfectDry technology with Zeolith places the drying of Bosch Series 8 among the main differentials of the line

One of the most well-known features of the Series 8 is PerfectDry, a system that, according to Bosch, delivers drying with low energy consumption, even for items that are more difficult to dry. In the brand’s official materials, the technology is associated with the use of Zeolith, a mineral used to improve drying performance.

Bosch highlights this feature as a response to a common limitation of traditional dishwashers, especially when there are many plastic items in the load. In Series 8 models listed by the company, PerfectDry appears as one of the central elements of the line’s technical proposal.

Automatic door opening and more efficient drying expand the automation proposal of the Bosch Series 8 dishwasher

In some versions of the Series 8, Bosch also includes the EfficientDry feature, described by the manufacturer as automatic door opening at the end of the cycle to improve drying and energy efficiency. The function appears in the brand’s official technical specifications for models in the line.

This mechanism helps release the steam accumulated inside the tub and promotes air circulation after the wash cycle ends. In Bosch’s technical documentation, the feature is presented precisely as part of the strategy to improve the final result without relying solely on conventional heating methods.

Home Connect brings remote control, voice commands, and intelligent recommendations to Bosch Series 8

In compatible models, the Series 8 works with the Home Connect platform, which allows starting and monitoring programs via mobile phone, receiving notifications, and accessing additional dishwasher functions even outside the kitchen.

Bosch itself describes Home Connect as a connectivity hub to facilitate the everyday use of appliances.

In the Home Connect environment, the brand also offers the Program Assistant, a function that suggests programs based on preferences such as speed, energy savings, or noise level.

The platform also informs compatibility with voice commands and shows that the user can turn on, turn off, and check the equipment status through compatible assistants.

Another relevant point is remote support. Home Connect informs that the app can help identify faults and even connect the user to a technician, speeding up diagnosis in maintenance situations.

Sensors, Intelligent Programme, and automatic water and wash adjustment enhance the efficiency of Series 8

In the technical specifications of Series 8, Bosch lists the Intelligent Programme, a feature that adapts the wash and dry cycle based on feedback recorded by the user in the app. The proposal is to make the operation more personalized, adjusting performance to the actual use of the appliance.

The line also appears equipped, in some versions, with AquaSensor, technology that regulates water use according to the type and degree of dirt. In practice, this allows the machine to adjust cycle variables to balance cleanliness and resource consumption.

Additionally, Bosch includes in some models of the Series 8 extra washing zones and automatic programs aimed at different loads, expanding the ability to handle delicate dishes, dirtier utensils, and varied routines within the same platform.

EcoSilence Drive, low noise and silence functions help position the Bosch Series 8 in integrated kitchens

Quiet operation is another strong point of the line. In official models of the Series 8, Bosch reports noise levels of 43 dB(A) and 42 dB, as well as quieter operation programs in certain versions, which favors kitchens integrated with living rooms and open environments.

Part of this performance comes from the EcoSilence Drive, a brushless motor that Bosch describes as quieter and more efficient. In the technical specifications of the line, the set appears associated with reduced mechanical friction, less vibration, and more stable operation over time.

In addition to this, Home Connect also offers the Silence on Demand function, which temporarily reduces noise via the app. With this, the Series 8 goes beyond the proposal of simply washing dishes and starts to operate as a connected, adjustable, and integrated equipment within the logic of the smart kitchen.

In Brazil, the official presence of the Series 8 remains undefined. Bosch informs on its Brazilian website that the brand’s former home appliance operation was taken over by Mabe Brazil and that, after the company’s bankruptcy, there is no official technical assistance channel for the white line in the country, indicating that the line does not have a structured official offer in the Brazilian market today.
