Discover the Main Features of SmartLog Technology Used by the Company to Enhance Sugarcane Planting Logistics
BP Bioenergia’s SmartLog technology brings together a series of cutting-edge IT solutions, such as 4G technology and artificial intelligence, to perform centralized management and monitoring of mechanized planting and the entire CTT (Cut, Transshipment, and Transport) operation of the 11 agro-industrial units, involving approximately 1,200 agricultural equipment.
Additionally, the technology was also used in the last harvest for irrigation processes in five mills, with a plan to complete this implementation across all units in the 2023/24 harvest.
Another highly relevant feature for sugarcane planting logistics offered by SmartLog is fleet telematics management and the identification, via satellite images, of fire hotspots in sugarcane plantations. This way, the activation and use of Firefighting Brigades become even more efficient in the company’s agricultural process.
Furthermore, in addition to being recognized in the MasterCana Centro-Sul 2022 Award in the “Agricultural Logistics” category, BP Bioenergia has also received other awards at the event during 2021. These included: “Availability & Reliability Agroindustrial – Performance” and “Ethanol Production – Management.” In 2020, the company also achieved a good distinction and received awards in the categories “Business Strategy – Management” and “Agricultural Automation – Technology & Innovation.”
