Brandt do Brasil Comments on the New Investment
For Wladimir Chaga, President of Brandt do Brasil, this current moment contextualizes, for the company, the importance of the group for the national agribusiness. According to Chaga, the company is completing another essential phase for Brandt.
Currently, Brazil ranks among the top in global agricultural production and still has not fully reached its production potential. With the inauguration of the new factory in Paraná, the company aims to strengthen its operations in Brazil and continue to make significant contributions to the advancement of agribusiness in the country.
Brandt already holds world records for soybean and corn productivity, with David Hula and Randy Dowdy, and with this factory, the company seeks to continue bringing these record-setting technologies to all farmers in Brazil.
About Brandt
Brandt was founded in 1953 when Glen Brandt, at 27 years old, innovated by applying nitrogen fertilizers to the soil of his farm. Observing the results of his new management practices, neighboring producers became interested in the method, and thus, Glen and his sister Evelyn started one of the fastest-growing family businesses in the U.S.
Today, Brandt is based in America’s agricultural belt, in Springfield, Illinois, and has been led since 1995 by Glen’s son, Rick Brandt, who is in constant search of innovations and field validations that have allowed us to break through the main agricultural frontiers in the world. Since then, producers in over 65 countries have been able to reap the benefits of Brandt’s exclusive technologies, which undergo a unique and meticulous manufacturing process, ensuring extreme quality.
The company has demonstrated the effectiveness of its technologies by achieving two world productivity records: Randy Dowdy, with 213 bushels of soybeans per hectare, and David Hula, with 644 bushels of corn per hectare. In Brazil, the company has been operating since 2015 with its record-setting technologies and is one of the leaders in the fields of plant physiology and application technology. Due to exponential growth, last year, the company expanded its factories in Brazil.
