The meeting was arranged by BYD’s advisor and former Minister of Cities, Alexandre Baldy, alongside Minister of the Civil House, Rui Costa, Bahia Governor Jerônimo Rodrigues, and Senator Jaques Wagner. During the meeting, the executives invited Lula to participate in the ceremony in Salvador; however, the president traveled on Monday to Puerto Iguazú, Argentina, where the Mercosur Summit will take place.
