The Company Leads the Reduction of Global Temperature with Clean Energy
BYD, which stands for “Build Your Dreams”, is revolutionizing the renewable energy and sustainability sector, with a remarkable impact that transcends the borders of China, its home country. The company, which excels in the production of electric vehicles and solar panels, is committed to building a better planet, working vigorously to combat climate change.
Founded in 1995 by chemist Wang Chuanfu, BYD quickly became a pioneer in the development of rechargeable batteries and an advocate for sustainability. Expanding its solutions globally, the company has created a zero-emission energy ecosystem, including solar power generation, storage, and electrified transportation. In tune with recent climate alerts, BYD aims to reduce the global temperature by 1°C.
BYD Energy: Advances in Solar Energy and Electrified Transportation
Arriving in Brazil in 2015, BYD inaugurated its first 100% electric bus assembly plant in Campinas, SP. In 2017, it expanded its operations with a second factory in the same city, focusing on the production of photovoltaic modules, solidifying its role as a leader in providing zero-carbon solar energy solutions.
