The Company Leads the Reduction of Global Temperature with Clean Energy

BYD, which stands for “Build Your Dreams”, is revolutionizing the renewable energy and sustainability sector, with a remarkable impact that transcends the borders of China, its home country. Founded in 1995 by chemist Wang Chuanfu, BYD quickly became a pioneer in the development of rechargeable batteries and an advocate for sustainability. BYD Energy has already produced more than 2.3 million photovoltaic modules in Brazil, significantly contributing to the country’s energy independence. BYD’s modules, known for their easy installation, long lifespan, and reduced maintenance, are applicable in various contexts, from urban and rural areas to industries and homes.

The company has also invested R＄ 50 million in research and development (R&D), collaborating with renowned Brazilian universities and institutes to adapt its products to diverse regional climates. Additionally, BYD is investing R＄ 7 million in its first solar plant, which includes a weather station dedicated to studying photovoltaic modules under tropical conditions.

Transforming Transportation with Electric Buses

BYD’s first factory in Brazil, focused on assembling 100% electric bus chassis, represents a milestone in the transformation of urban transportation. With significantly lower operating costs and notable environmental benefits, such as the elimination of CO2 emissions and reduction of noise pollution, these buses are changing the landscape of transportation in Brazilian cities.

Electric Trucks and Forklifts

The innovative Lithium Iron technology is at the heart of BYD’s electric trucks, offering over 200km of range, safety, and adaptability to fleet needs. BYD’s forklifts, equipped with lithium batteries, represent a shift in usage and application standards, standing out in the global market with sales exceeding two billion.
