Technical Organization Determines the Order of INSS Payments
The structure of the calendar follows a technical standard already adopted by INSS in previous years.
For those who receive up to the minimum wage, payments always start with cards ending in 1 and progressively advance to 0.
For insured individuals who receive above the national minimum, INSS adopts grouping of last digits, starting with 1 and 6, followed by 2 and 7, 3 and 8, 4 and 9, and finally, 5 and 0.
This logic allows for the distribution of payments over several days, avoiding congestion in the banking system.
According to the Ministry of Social Security, this criterion ensures greater operational efficiency.
Initial Payment Dates in January 2026
At the beginning of 2026, the calendar establishes clear differences between beneficiary groups.
Those receiving up to the minimum wage will have deposits for January made between January 26 and February 6.

The schedule continues in August, from August 25 to September 8; in September, from September 24 to October 7; and in October, from October 26 to November 9.
Finally, payments for November occur from November 24 to December 7, while those for December will be from December 22 to January 8, concluding the annual cycle.
Importance of Correctly Checking the Last Number on the Card
To avoid confusion, INSS emphasizes the need for attention to the last number of the benefit card.
The insured must only consider the last number before the dash, ignoring the verification digit.
This correct identification is essential for tracking the exact payment date.
The rule applies to both those receiving the minimum wage and those receiving above it.

Consultation of Values and Official Channels of INSS
In addition to knowing the dates, insured individuals can check the amounts to be received through official channels.
Access can be done via the Meu INSS app or the website meu.inss.gov.br, both maintained by the National Institute of Social Security.
Another option is the Central 135, with service from Monday to Saturday, from 7 AM to 10 PM, requiring CPF and registration confirmation.
These channels provide updated and secure information.
