Cegás Benefiting Drivers

The initiative from the Ceará Gas Company (Cegás) will benefit the first 166 owners who sign up for the program.

The company aims to replace liquid fuels with Natural Gas for Vehicles (NGV), which offers savings of between 35% and 50% per kilometer traveled. This measure aims to stimulate or reestablish productive activities in the state, even during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The focus is also on encouraging various companies to use the fuel in their automotive fleets, including those in the sports automotive sector, as well as various taxi drivers, ride-hailing drivers, and school transportation fleets.

The Project

The program is aimed at all those who are owners of motor vehicles, whether individuals or legal entities, as long as their vehicles are duly registered and are from the state of Ceará.

Another important requirement is that vehicle owners install the NGV Kit within the validity period of Cegás’ offer.

The Ceará Gas Company – Cegás informed via a statement that it may create a waiting list for those interested in receiving this benefit.

In the event of a withdrawal from any participant or failure to comply with any regulation, Cegás will immediately include the next registered participant in the program.
