In addition to effective blocking, the application will offer resources for tracking and recovering lost devices, providing users with effective means to handle theft situations.
The expectation is that this tool will significantly contribute to the reduction of the illegal trade in stolen cell phones, discouraging the operations of criminal networks specialized in this type of activity.
The “Secure Cell Phone” App Is Expected to Be Launched Soon
However, as highlighted by the Ministry of Justice and Public Security (MJSP), the use of Secure Cell Phone does not replace direct communication between users and banks, phone operators, and online platforms.
Additionally, the importance of reporting incidents to the police is emphasized, ensuring a comprehensive approach to resolving cases of mobile device thefts and burglaries.
The application is expected to be released this Tuesday (19) for Android, iOS, and computers, following the successful completion of tests and necessary adjustments.
This application represents a bold step in using technology as an ally in promoting public safety, addressing society’s demands for modern and efficient solutions to the challenges faced in contemporary times.
