Centec Is Offering More Than 200 Positions in Free Online and EAD Courses for Residents of Quixeramobim and Juazeiro do Norte, Ceará.
Enrollment starts today, Friday (24). From this Friday (24), enrollment will be open for an online entrance exam 2022.1 at the Technology Colleges (Fatec) of the Centec Institute. A total of 270 positions will be available divided among 5 free higher-level courses in Juazeiro do Norte and Quixeramobim, municipalities in the state of Ceará. Enrollment will take place on the institution’s website until November 15.

At Fatec Cariri, located in Juazeiro do Norte, the free EAD courses offered are in Food Technology, Environmental Sanitation, Irrigation and Drainage, and Industrial Maintenance. It is worth noting that all free courses have full-time schedules.

Due to the public emergency generated by Covid-19, the free courses from Centec will occur via remote (online) learning. However, the higher courses are primarily in-person and classes can be shifted to a hybrid or in-person format at any moment.
Learn How the Selection Process for Centec’s Free Courses Will Work
Half of the spots are reserved for candidates from Ceará who completed their High School entirely in public schools within the municipality or state, for self-declared black, indigenous, and brown individuals, and 3% for Persons with Disabilities (PwD).
It is important to note that interested candidates must be available to attend in-person classes in Juazeiro do Norte and Quixeramobim, regardless of which opportunity was chosen. The selection process results will be announced on December 6 by Centec, and classes are scheduled to begin in January of the following year.
