New details reveal unprecedented colors, subtle design changes, and features of Apple’s anticipated foldable iPhone.
Apple’s new generation of smartphones is starting to take shape even before the official announcement, scheduled for 2026.
Now, recent leaks indicate that the company is working on the launch of the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and a foldable model, provisionally known as the iPhone Ultra.
According to information released by the Macworld portal, based on supply chain sources, the initial definitions primarily involve new colors and adjustments to the devices’ design.

New Dark Cherry color and other shades take center stage
Among the main highlights is the introduction of the new “Dark Cherry” shade, which quickly draws attention.

Thus, Apple is betting on a more sophisticated and less flashy look, reinforcing a more elegant identity for the Pro line.

Still, as the devices have not entered mass production, these colors may be adjusted until the official announcement.
In fact, there is a possibility of reducing the available options, as well as removing previous colors, such as Cosmic Orange.
Design maintains identity with specific changes
Meanwhile, the leaks also include technical drawings (CAD) of the devices.
These files indicate that the overall design will be maintained, but with discreet adjustments.
The main change involves the reduction of the Dynamic Island, a feature that centralizes notifications and real-time activities.
With this change, the devices should offer more usable screen space when the feature is not active.
In addition, another possible modification is on the back of the device.
In this case, the distance between the glass cutout and the camera module may be smaller, although this is not yet confirmed.
At the same time, Apple is also evaluating improvements in the finish.
Thus, the company seeks to reduce color differences between the glass and the aluminum structure, which can make the look more uniform.
Foldable iPhone follows the same line of discreet colors
On the other hand, the anticipated foldable iPhone also appears in leaks with relevant details.
When opened, the device should have a shape similar to a compact tablet, close to the iPad mini.
However, unlike traditional models, the visual proposal will be more discreet and aligned with the new sophisticated colors.
Among the colors under consideration are:
- Silver
- White
- Indigo, with a deep blue hue
Additionally, the foldable model may have fewer color options than the Pro line, reinforcing its more elegant proposition.

As is common in Apple’s cycles, changes may occur until the official announcement of the devices.
Therefore, although leaks indicate clear trends in colors and design, the final models may present differences from what was anticipated.
