The TRAX is Chevrolet’s latest release in the medium SUV segment, arriving to fill the gap left by the late Cruze. Available in the North American market since last year, the TRX originated in China and is known as Seeker there. In Brazil, the TRAX aims to carve out its space in the medium SUV market and promises to be a challenge for the Jeep Compass, Volkswagen Taos, Toyota Corolla Cross, among others.
The TRAX is a project developed in China, bringing more interesting features than the simpler models of the Onix family. Focused on safety, equipment, and comfort, this new medium SUV is the official successor to the Cruze in all markets and will soon arrive in Brazil, positioning itself between the Equinox and the Tracker.
Design and Visual That Impress
The appearance of the TRAX is one of the strong points of the model, with a well-defined design that catches the eye. It is still unknown what mechanical configuration will be chosen for the TRX in Latin America, but considering the presence of the 1.5 engine in the Equinox, it is likely that this will be the option for the local market. With superior performance and energy efficiency, the TRX promises to win over consumers looking for a complete and reliable medium SUV.
TRX Follows the Standard of Chevrolet Models
The interior finish of the TRAX follows the standard of Chevrolet models, with areas in leather and predominance of hard plastics. The interior space of the SUV is generous, thanks to its wide wheelbase, ensuring comfort for five adults.
