Unlike traditional versions, the Chevrolet Onix Log 2027 received internal changes to prioritize the transport of goods.
The rear seats were removed, as well as the seat belts, making way for a cargo area with a flat floor. Between the cabin and the compartment, a partition equipped with an acrylic window was installed, a solution that protects the occupants without compromising the driver’s visibility.

With this configuration, the model now offers the capacity to transport up to 375 kilograms and provides 1,045 liters of useful volume.

Equipment remains close to entry-level versions
Even directed towards work, the hatch retains much of the items present in the conventional configurations of the Onix line.
Among the equipment are a multimedia center with an 8-inch screen, air conditioning, electric steering, electric locks, and electric windows on the front doors.
In terms of safety, the Chevrolet Onix Log 2027 features six airbags, electronic stability control, traction control, and hill start assist.
Engine and consumption follow the already known configuration of the line
Chevrolet kept the 1.0 aspirated engine in the model, which delivers 82 horsepower and 10.6 kgfm of torque. The set always works together with the six-speed manual transmission.
According to data from the Brazilian Vehicle Labeling Program (PBEV), the hatch records a consumption of 9.6 km/l in the city and 11.9 km/l on the highway with ethanol. When fueled with gasoline, the numbers increase to 13.8 km/l in the urban cycle and 16.9 km/l on highways.
How the Onix Log positions itself against competitors
Although it was developed to transport cargo, the Chevrolet Onix Log 2027 has a different proposal from that adopted by traditional light utility vehicles.
In terms of energy efficiency, the model presents numbers superior to those of the Fiat Argo equipped with a 1.0 aspirated engine, which records 9.4 km/l in the city and 10.4 km/l on the highway with ethanol, as well as 13.6 km/l and 14.5 km/l, respectively, when fueled with gasoline.
In comparison with the Fiat Fiorino, the differences appear in the vehicle’s design. While the Onix Log is derived from a hatch adapted for cargo transport, the Fiorino was developed from the start as a van intended for work.

This characteristic is reflected in the load capacity. Fiat’s utility vehicle supports up to 650 kilograms and offers 3,300 liters of useful volume, numbers significantly superior to those presented by the new Chevrolet model.
Model expands options for those seeking a compact commercial vehicle
With the return of the Log version, Chevrolet now offers an alternative for professionals who need a compact vehicle for deliveries and urban cargo transport, but do not require the capacity of a traditional van.

By combining hatchback dimensions, equipment similar to a passenger car, and a compartment adapted for cargo, the Chevrolet Onix Log 2027 expands the brand’s portfolio in the segment of vehicles aimed at commercial use.
