When it arrived in Brazil in 1994, the Chevrolet Corsa quickly became a sales success, winning over consumers with its modern and innovative design, in contrast to the more square-style models that dominated the decade, such as the Fiat Uno Mille and the VW Goal. Although it was discontinued in Brazil in 2012, the Corsa's legacy lives on in other international markets, where the model is still a sales success. Main differences from the 'Chevrolet Corsa' from Mexico

In the Mexican automobile industry, the Corsa was marketed as Chevy, becoming called the Chevy C2 when it received its first restyling, which is much more extensive than what the hatch underwent in Brazil.

The differences are due to the front, which replaced the oval headlights with a larger drop-shaped optical assembly, while the front grille also grew and now features a body-colored trim. 

The front bumper of the Chevrolet Corsa in Mexico gained a larger air intake located in the central portion, with the detail of having a black finish, something that recalls Audi's design trend at the time. A spoiler adorns the entire front end and joins the fender moldings.

At the rear of the Chevy C2, in turn, the headlights maintain their shape, however, with the detail of having three circular elements.

Still at the rear, the smooth lid of the Chevrolet Corsa from Mexico gives way to another with a crease in the central part and the dividing logo, while the license plate has been moved to the bumper. Furthermore, the model's bumper gained more defined lines and the spoiler is attached to the wheel arch frames.

Chevy C2 receives its second restyling
