Combining Artificial Intelligence, IoT, and Big Data, Cobli Cam Has Reduced Violations by 40% and Almost Eliminated Fines for Cell Phone Use by Customers
Cobli, the FleetTech that simplifies and enhances fleet management, brings a video telematics experience to this year’s edition of Logistique – the Logistics, Multimodal Cargo Transport, International Trade, Technology, and Intralogistics Fair. The event is considered by the market as one of the largest and most important focused on intermodal logistics and transportation in the country and takes place from August 22 to 24.
Pointed out as the next frontier in fleet management, Cobli Cam includes cameras with embedded artificial intelligence that record the vehicle’s cabin and the road. This way, risky behaviors on the road – such as distracted driving, unsafe distance from the vehicle ahead, among others – are automatically identified and an audible alert is issued to warn the driver of the recklessness. This data is available to managers on the Cobli platform which, with the help of artificial intelligence, can organize a large volume of information and direct the points that really require action. In this way, raw data is transformed into useful and relevant information.
“Technologies like vehicle cameras have evolved and are increasingly intelligent and accessible for more focused and careful driving. No wonder there are already more installations of video telematics in the United States than of more basic systems like GPS and trackers. Brazil is evolving on this journey and will reap many benefits,” explains Omar Jarouche, CMO of Cobli.

The world’s largest escalator, measuring 905 meters in China, reduces urban travel time from 1 hour to about 20 minutes and transforms mobility in mountainous regions with an engineering solution adapted to the terrain.
At Cobli’s booth, visitors will be able to experience firsthand how video telematics works from the perspective of both the driver and the fleet manager. The immersive experience will also allow them to understand how automatic identification of risky situations and the capture and sending of images to the Cobli platform works, including the audible alerts issued in the vehicle’s cabin and the notifications sent to the manager – who receives the exact moment intervention is needed. “Reckless driving is a risk to society as a whole. We have already seen cases where clients managed to reduce risk events by 80% such as speeding and had fines for cell phone use while driving drop to almost zero,” adds Omar.
Strategic Market
Logistics is one of the largest markets in Brazil: according to the Logistics and Supply Chain Institute (Ilos), in 2022, Brazil would have spent the equivalent of 13.3% of the country’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP). In countries like the United States, for example, the same cost percentage hovers around 6% to 7%. “Through cutting-edge IoT, Artificial Intelligence, Big Data technologies, Cobli’s solutions help reduce costs, enhance productivity, ensure safe driving for the driver, and improve the experience for the end customer,” highlights Omar.
The Southern region is an important hub for logistics and technology, as it houses headquarters of national and multinational companies, major exporters, and technology development firms. Omar adds that Logistique is a strategic event because both the location and the segment are highly strategic for Cobli. “Our participation is important to strengthen relationships with clients and partners, as well as to seek quality networking for new business opportunities. To this end, Cobli will have a team of specialists to demonstrate through interactive experiences how our intelligence platform can help companies enhance their operations,” affirms Omar.
The executive director of Logistique emphasizes the importance of having companies like Cobli at the event. “Companies like Cobli play decisive roles in the logistics market, with totally innovative and crucial products to enhance road freight logistics,” emphasizes Karine, executive director of Logistique.
