Due To The Rise Of The Dollar And Oil Barrel That Is Already At US$ 81, There Is A Risk Of A New Increase In The Price Of Fuels
The possibility of a new increase in fuel prices has returned to Petrobras’ agenda. According to sources from Jovem Pan, there is little room for maneuver for the oil company within its current pricing policy with the international market. With the rise of the dollar and the oil barrel, which is already above the value of 80 dollars, there is a strong possibility of a new increase in diesel and gasoline at fuel stations across the country.

Petrobras Develops Tool To Monitor Fuel Prices
Due to the constant increase in fuel and cooking gas prices, Petrobras developed the Price Monitor for Fuels by OSP.
The tool records the average prices charged for fuels and will be updated weekly, providing data since July 2001. Therefore, it will be easier to track price adjustments and the evolution of charges. The tool will also help compare fuel expenses against the growth of the Brazilian minimum wage.
