Suzano’s New Pulp Mill Will Be Inaugurated by June 2024 in Mato Grosso do Sul
Suzano’s long-awaited pulp mill, part of the Cerrado Project located in Ribas do Rio Pardo, is about to begin its operations. The company has expedited the timeline and plans for the new plant to be operational by June 2024, as announced in a relevant market statement.
This acceleration represents a significant change from the previous estimate, which indicated that the mill would only be operational in the second half of 2024. Other project details, including the total investment of R$ 22.2 billion, remain unchanged, according to Campo Grande News.
