Natural Gas Company – Comgás Offers Several Internship Opportunities in SP

Comgás, a natural gas distribution company, is offering internship positions in Campinas/SP and in two other cities in the state. In total, there are 20 internship positions that the natural gas distributor Comgás is making available, and interested candidates can apply through its official website until January 16.

Comgás, in its long history, has produced fuel through various combinations: from olive oil to carbonated hydrogen gas, coal, naphtha, a mixture involving water and coal, up to natural gas. The adoption of natural gas, starting in the 1990s, was considered the most crucial phase in Comgás’ entire history, which has been part of the state of São Paulo’s life since the extinction of whale oil lamps.

From 1999 to 2012, Comgás invested over R$ 4 billion in the expansion and modernization of its gas distribution network, which was expanded by over six thousand kilometers.

Internship Requirements for the Natural Gas Distributor – Comgás

Internships at Comgás are offered to students enrolled in higher education courses recognized by the Ministry of Education – whether bachelor’s, technology, or teaching degrees. According to Comgás’ advisory, candidates must complete their degree between July 2022 and July 2023. The process also includes possible cities of operation, such as São José dos Campos and the capital city of São Paulo.

Comgás Internships Last for 1.5 Years

The internship program at Comgás has a maximum duration of 18 months, with a weekly workload of 30 hours, and is set to begin in March 2021. Selected candidates are entitled to a stipend, meal voucher, medical and dental assistance, life insurance, and gym membership.
