In A Month Of Turnarounds, The Toyota Model Not Only Retook Its Leadership But Also Saw The Rise Of Three Chinese Models To The Top 5, Changing The Category Landscape In Brazil.
The medium SUV market flipped upside down in June. The Toyota Corolla Cross not only regained its position as the best-selling vehicle in Brazil but did so dominantly. Leaving its rival Jeep Compass behind, the Toyota model reassumed leadership in a month marked by the impressive strength of Chinese vehicles, which took prominent positions in the ranking.
The Unbeatable Performance Of Toyota In June
June was a month of recovery and victory for Toyota. The Corolla Cross reached the impressive mark of 5,335 units registered, comfortably securing the top spot. This result confirms the strength of the SUV, which reversed the scenario of May and established itself as the favorite in the category.
Jeep Compass Loses Strength And Ranks Second
The Jeep Compass, which celebrated its lead the previous month, could not sustain its performance. With 4,546 units sold in June, the model dropped to second place. The nearly 800-unit difference to the Corolla Cross raised a warning sign for Jeep in the fierce competition.
